The final trip of the 2025/26 Mourant Girls Academy season saw the U9/10s and U13/14s travel to Jersey for the annual Jersey Wanderers Girls Football Festival on Saturday 25th April. Excitement was high at the airport, particularly for the younger group, who were travelling for fixtures and experiencing matches against all-girls teams for the first time. For the first time, the U11/12 and U15/16 Girls Academy teams travelled to England to take on Claygate Royals FC. Upon arriving at West End Recreation Ground in Esher, the U15/16s faced Claygate U15s in a full-length 11-a-side match. The game began closely contested, but two early goals gave Guernsey control in the first 20 minutes. On Saturday 21 March 2026, we welcomed Jersey Bulls to Victoria Park for fixtures against our Under 13/14 and Under 11/12 Girls Academy squads.
